i'm your typical best pick of the litter guy, who likes to go out & paint up the town. i painted my car with a brush and a roller, it came out sweet! That's what i spelled right across the windshield! Wanna know' bout me? i'm just your typical guy, who loves regular guy stuff, like playing football whenever i get the chance, i like volleyball, i like stargazing at the lake, quiet evenings, dinner by candlelight, listening (& of course performing) hard rock music, taking long walks on the beach, funny movies, reading playboy for the articles, running over squirrels, vomiting pea soup onto priests, dissecting stray cats, visiting graveyards during the midnight hour to dig up some friends to play with, using hot glue to stick live crickets to my forehead, playing games where i get to kill my friends, you know... just average.

i was just thinking about that song by breaking benjamins. it's got a nifty acoustic/symphonic orchestral version they put out - it made me happy to listen to it. i love music. not just the sort of stuff that i do, but all different kinds of stuff. there's something redeemable about music of every genre, people just need to open their eyes ears and minds and see that not everything out there has to be one way, and that's okay. you can like what you like, but it doesn't mean someone else [or me] is a bad person if they're not into it. BUT! racism is ridiculous. whether it's prejudice in person or in music selection - it is foolhardy. if you say you love country-but you hate rap, then you need to re-examine yourself, because rap & hip hop are so closely related to r&b which is where rock and roll came from-and rock and roll is a close relation to country style music. some people don't wanna hear logic on this, but just keep their minds closed to the world. GET OVER IT. if you ever think about helping yourself, why not ask yourself this - is it so bad to step outside of what you're into sometimes? try turning the radio on and changing the channel, listen to something that you would never listen to typically. you may be surprised at how impressed you can be by classical, or the feelings you get listening to instrumental music, cinemagic movie soundtracks, jazz, rap, techno, hip hop, disco, ska, rock music, whatever it is... just open your mind and be free, don't be afraid. because being afraid is the same as being shallow. thank you shock G, for helping me open my eyes and ears and be more free. i still like the old stuff though. sorry! wouldn't it be funny to make a parody of breaking benjamins' aforementioned diary of jane? imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? it could be called "the diarrhea chain" - there! perfect. that's it for now... ~me
